"We had been working to go to electronic elections for several years. We could not find a system that our computer services could support without a great deal of effort. Elexpert solved that issue and proved to be a valuable asset. Set up was quick and convenient. Issues that developed during the election (there are always issues that arise the first time through with any system) were corrected immediately and with little effort on our part.
The election started at midnight, on schedule, and allowed the students to vote when it was convenient for them. Unfortunately our fall elections follwed by a few days the tragic events of September 11th. We had anticipated a sharp increase in voter participation due to the new format and extended hours. After September 11th we were concerned that the election results would be off dramatically. When we analyzed the results of the vote we were pleased to discover that the turnout was identical to the previous year. Given the situation we were heartened. The staff at Elexpert were most accomodating - offering to extend the deadlines etc. in order to meet our needs. We are now planning the Spring election and anticipate a large increase in voter turnout with their flexible system.
In summary we have been delighted with the results of our association with Elexpert and recommed them highly."

"This was our first year doing on-line voting. We were a bit nervous because the process seemed so simple. Our nervousness increased when we had to re-open the candidate application process 24-hours prior to the initial election date. However, we were extremely happy with the service and support we received from Elexpert. Dave Stinnett guided us through the process and with one phone call we were able to reschedule the elections.
In the past voter turnout has been low because we have a large number of commuter students who did not vote. However, this year through on-line voting we had the largest voter turnout ever and the majority of the new voters were commuter students who could vote from home or their place of employment! Elexpert has programs and plans to fit all situations from small institutions with one annual election, to large institutions with multiple elections. All of our future elections will be conducted through Elexpert!"
